mouldering under a grave-mound
daylight and darkness nourish your doom
your gullet choked on the gore it has gulped
the blood-glut clots and can't reach earths gut
shackled in shame, we share the same hatred
to surf over this blood-crest, Apollo cries from a deep cleft-shrine
"they are the tyrants who have crushed you"
my spirit feels the grudge-dogs
helplessness under harsh masters
up in the light
is their no goat for my libations
fresh blood on your hands makes you fear the Furies
through black blood ooze their eyes stare
the snake that came from the same womb
a son in snake-scales
sent as her slayer
I go as a wanderer, exiled from my bloodline
coming Gorgons dwell in my mind
